The Lochhaven Neighborhood is located in the Northwestern part of the City of Norfolk, bordered by the Norfolk International Terminal on the North, the Lafayette River on the South and West, and Hampton Boulevard on the East. Many of the original homes in the neighborhood are from the 1920s and 1930s, but every decade is represented. Many military families live in Lochhaven because of its proximity to Naval Station Norfolk and all its tenet commands.
The neighborhood public schools are Maury High School, Blair Middle School or School of International Studies at Meadowbrook and Sewell’s Point Elementary School.
