Naval Station Norfolk is located at the end of I-564 and Hampton Boulevard in Norfolk. The Naval Station has several major tenet commands: Joint Forces Command, NATO Headquarters, COMMARFORLANT, Marine Corps Barracks, as well as being the home to the East Coast Naval Fleet. All types of naval vessels are homeported in Norfolk to include: Aircraft Carriers (CV, CVN), Cruisers (CG, CGN), Destroyers (DDG), Frigates (FFG), Submarines (SSN, SSBN), all Amphibious ships (LHA, LHD, LPD). NS Norfolk also has a large Commissary, NEX, as well as Medical and Dental facilities.
