The Riverview Neighborhood is located in the Central part of the City of Norfolk, bordered by Lafayette River on the North and East, The Virginia Zoo on the South and Granby Street on West. Many of the homes in the neighborhood are from the 1900s and 1910s, with a few new contruction homes being built.
The neighborhood public schools are Maury High School, Blair Middle School and Granby Elementary School.
